Toronto Film Festival Announces 62 Films

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced its first titles for the 2012 festival in September.

 

These include new films from Ben Affleck (“Argo”), Deepa Mehta (“Midnight’s Children”), Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski (“Cloud Atlas”), David O. Russell “(Silver Linings Playbook”), Joe Wright (“Anna Karenina”), Ramin Bahrani (“At Any Price”), Neil Jordan (“Byzantium”), Mira Nair (“The Reluctant Fundamentalist”), Robert Redford (“The Company You Keep”), Cate Shortland (“Lore”), Francois Ozon (“In The House”), Roger Michell (“Hyde Park on Hudson”), Joss Whedon (“Much Ado About Nothing”), Robert Pilcini and Shari Springer Berman (“Imogene”), Derek Cianfrance (“The Place Behind The Pines”), Laurent Cantet (“Foxfire”), Noah Baumbach (“Frances Ha”), Sally Potter (“Ginger and Rosa”) and, Terrence Malick (“To The Wonder”).

 

More than 140 films have yet to be announced for the premier north American festival starting September 6-16.
