An anonymous fan, with more money than sense, purchased Scarlett Johansson’s snotty tissue on eBay.com for $5,300. Okay, so the deal was for charity, but still, it has to make you worry which body fluid will be auctioned off next. Ick!
Johansson appeared on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show -complaining of the sniffles she’d caught from her fellow co-star, Samuel L. Jackson, on the set of their latest feature, “The Spirit.” Leno offered a tissue and suggested blowing her nose and auctioning off the gooey contents for charity. USA Harvest was the lucky beneficiary of greenbacks but who was the crazy snot shopper? If this does start a trend in these poor economic times, celebrities’ better beware the next time they’re shooting a load at a top Hollywood hotel –remember to flush the tissues.
